ScaleTrains HO Scale: Rivet Counter - Thrall/Trinity 42' Steel Coil Car - Norfolk Southern
Introduced in the mid-1990s, Thrall’s updated 42’ coil car design featured a single hood and longitudinal loading trough with load dividers. Designed to handle wrapped “cold rolled” steel coils, these cars are equipped with insulated hoods to help protect the delicate finished steel from the elements.
