In the mid 2010s, GATX purchased the boxcar fleet from General Electric Rail Services. Many of these boxcars have been many different owners over their life and are now being repainted and shopped. The boxcar fleets are receiving reporting marks such as WRWK & BKTY. The miscellaneous 5277 cubic foot boxcars are getting the LRS reporting marks as is on our offering.
