When you’re looking to start or looking for additions to YOUR model train collection, we know how frustrating it can be to have to visit multiple places to find everything you’re looking for. That’s why at TrainLife, we’ve worked to be your model train one-stop-shop, from a train parts provider to a model railroad store.
It’s always been important to us to be the premiere model railroad store. We understand how important the railroad is to the any model train collection.
So what should you consider when looking at tracks?
The first thing is the overall design of your track. How many connectors will you need? When will your track turn and which way? How will it work in your space? To see examples of track and track parts, head on over to our model railroad inventory.
When starting out it’s easy to forget about supplies and details, but we recommend getting them from the start to improve your overall experience. These supplies can continue to be updated and collected overtime to keep building up your models. Some of the supplies we offer include light circuits, scenery, and accessories such as roofs, ladders, figurines, etc. We also carry parts such as wheels, paint, and sound decoders. These supplies really add to the overall experience and bring your train collection up to that next level.
Naturally, when starting your collection you’ll need quality model trains. Consider your locomotive, what color do you want it to be? What rail company do you want to be featured? Do you prefer HO Scale or N Scale? You should also think about what type of locomotive you are interested in; will it be a Diesel, Steam, or Gas Turbine?
After you have selected your locomotive, it’s time to decide what will you choose for the rest of your rolling stock. Then, you’ll make decisions such as color, type, and picking which type of rolling stock (boxcar, passenger car, gondola, caboose, etc.) fits in your overall vision of your collection.
A model train collection is a hobby shared by people all around the world. Because we believe in this hobby we make it our goal to supply you with all of your collection needs. Visit TrainLife to begin or expanding your collection today.
